Born in La Mirada, Mitch grew up in the Norwalk and Whittier areas, where he graduated from Santa Fe High School. In the early 90’s Mitch attended California State University at Pomona to study
aerospace engineering. But, after the massive layoffs in the aerospace industry that year and the year after, Mitch decided to join the trades and became a plumber.

Over the last 20+ years, he has created a
successful plumbing business with 7 trucks and 15 employees. When he found employees that had good plumbing skills and treated the customers well, he helped them to get their own contractor’s license and grow their own business to serve other Southern California communities. Mitch knows how to serve others, build teams, and train them.

On the home front, Mitch has been married for 24 years. He and Charlene raised their three children right where he grew up in the heart of the 30th Senate District.
